Dr. Jorge Roman is board-certified in both dermatology and dermatopathology. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the skin, hair, and nails with special interests in clinical-pathologic correlation and pharmacologic therapies. He takes pride in using his knowledge and skills to improve the well-being of his patient. His formal education and training include:

Dr. Roman’s involvement in research has facilitated a host of publications in many subject areas including complex medical dermatology, pediatric dermatology, procedural dermatology, and dermatopathology. He has published in several major journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD), JAMA Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery, Pediatric Dermatology, and Journal of Cutaneous Pathology. He enjoys teaching and has given presentations at several national and international conferences.
In his spare time, Dr. Roman enjoys spending time at home with his cat Duke and reading books. He also devotes a significant portion of his time to physical fitness and enjoys traveling across the country to visit friends.
